Our new video tells a Shakespearean campervan tale set in Stratford, Ontario.
The back story: While we were travelling this summer, the opening skylight in the van broke. First, the gears and the crank seized, but Christian was able to fix it. It failed again a few weeks later. This time, not only was Christian unable to fix it, but the plastic broke pretty dramatically. It broke so severely that we were unable to drive the van nor keep the rain out. Fortunately, our neighbouring campers came to our rescue with a roll of Dollarama duct tape and a self-described monkey of a daughter who took on the rooftop repair. The duct tape lasted almost long enough for our drive to Stratford on October 3rd!
We share our story about replacing the skylight. In the story, Christian channels Hamlet or perhaps Macbeth. MacDuff says you’ll have to watch the video to find out!
